Battery types

Cylindrical Primary Lithium (Li/FeS2); alkaline Zinc-Manganese Dioxide (Zn/MnO2).

Sensor is optimized for Li/FeS2 cells. Use of alkaline batteries may indicate inaccurate battery capacity and results in shorter life.

Only use new batteries. Do not mix used with new batteries. Do not mix brands or batches of batteries.

Low battery behavior

Approximate battery capacity shown in interface; battery life estimate based on lithium chemistry.

Shorter data interval settings results in shorter battery life.

Absolute maximum battery voltage

1.825 V per cell. Use of batteries of a higher cell voltage will damage device and void warranty.
